Out of School Youth Program
This program will targets young people up to the age of 25 that are no longer in school from the community of Thembalethu and greater George, as it grows and become sustainable, even the Southern Cape region.
The initiative will focus on six (6) basic pillars for the first three to six months of its initial stage with a possibility of expansion in the course of time. Pillars will include:
- CV writing
- Interview preparation and conduct
- Communication skills
- Career mentorship/ motivators
- Job seeking mechanisms
- Job placement
Service providers Network
The service providers Network is meant to bring together all the service provider who are showing interest to use the centre as a venue to run their programs. Meeting once a quarter, its aim is to share all the successes and challenges with the purpose of assisting each other where possible. This is also meant to minimize duplication of programs/projects that are meant to develop or target the same or similar group
Test your skills and develop you strategic planning, while having loads of fun. The chess club is meant to instill a greater sense of problem solving, communication, team work and excitement for learning.
If you are between the ages of 12-25 and would like to join, The chess club meets on Thursdays @ 15:00, register during office hours at Inkcubeko.
Ladies Entrepreneurs Club
A group of 8 Ladies between the ages of 12-13 from various schools, developing business and life skills, by making 3D puzzles _Soma Cubes and selling it at the Entrepreneurs’ Night market which is on the first Friday of every month at the Botanical gardens.
